I purchased 3 pairs of shoes from Nike's Website over the weekend during their labor day clearance sale. They all were purchased, received order confirmations for them saying they would be delivered on 9/11, etc. Then 3 days later 1 pair of shoes shipped and delivered on 9/10. Good deal right? When I called in on 9/8 to find out when the other shoes were coming, they told me the warehouse was still processing the order. On 9/10, I called again to inquire and was given the same type of message. Then today I received an email stating my order had been cancelled and would not ship. Well I need these 2 additional pair of shoes for my boys cross country teams/runs so was very happy to find a good deal and delivery by this weekend. So I called back in tonight to get a substitute for the same shoes or similar shoe.

Nike would do absolutely nothing to create a good customer experience for me. They wouldn't offer any discounts for the same exact shoe in a different color even though they have those in stock for the right size and different color. Their customer service was not helpful, didn't try to help me at all. Basically told me to stop calling because there was nothing they could do.

Really, a company like Nike doesn't want to try and help a consumer that wanted to spend $250 - $300 on pairs of shoes from them.

A company like Nike doesn't have inventory control on the number of shoes in a warehouse at a certain size/color and it took them 7 days to realize this.

Very, very poor situation where I'm not sure I will ever be able to bring myself to buy another pair of shoes from Nike or retailer selling Nike shoes. All it would have taken is the same discount for the same pair of shoes in another color. Simple, simple situation that now sours all future purchases of any Nike products.

Nike is the furtherest thing from company that is looking to provide great customer service and understand the consumer side of the purchase. Not the corporate side. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever been a part of.

I would not recommend ever buying products on sale from their website unless you are open to a completely disappointing experience.

Reason of review: Order Issue, Delivery Issue, Poor Customer Service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Nike Cons: Poor service and warranty.
